At funflector.com, we pride ourselves with original content for what we do. Within the funflector team, we write our own texts, create our own designs and make our own photos and graphics. It takes a network of genuine professionals, plenty of creativity and effort, but we believe that is the right thing to do. Of course, there are a few things that others have done so brilliantly, that there is no way we could come up with our own.
The best example of that is the twinkling background that we fell in love with the instant we saw it. That little gif file actually shaped the way we designed our web pages! If you haven’t noticed it, go to our main site, www.glimling.com. Scroll down to just above the page footer and you’ll find a little thank you note and a link to http://www.fg-a.com/animated_backgrounds1.shtml. We believe that giving credit to the person or organization who spent time and effort in creating an original piece of anything, is just the right thing to do.
We provide our partners—media, stores and others that write about or sell our products—with information, blurbs, images, etc for the internet and printed media and encourage them to use them. However, recently we’ve found some of our own wording on other web sites that not at all are affiliated with funflector.com LLC, so we thought we need to let you know…
Creative product development is more fun than fuming over copycats, so let’s go back to putting a glimling twist on future fun safety reflectors!

The starry night sky is LONG gone from our website. It was cute, but also very distracting for shoppers. We still pride ourselves with original content and wrote this blog post because there was a copycat out there. Not surprisingly, that safety reflector webstore did not last long. In the spring of 2021 we had a similar experience, documented and taken care of with an instagram post. 😊
